Busy schedule? Lose weight when you’re tight on time and spends
It’s 2019. Everyone is busy.
I get it, you’ve got family, friends and work to balance and fitting in the gym is proving hard.
You’re not alone, people seem to lead busier lives and by the end of the day it can seem like the only thing you’re capable of doing is collapsing in front of Netflix to watch What If or Power.
I’m guessing that as you’re reading this article though, you’re ready to jump off that sofa and ditch the popcorn to lose weight.
How do you lose weight on a busy schedule and tight budget?
When it comes to losing weight you have a fair few options to help you along your way.
Working out at home
A lot of people I speak to who are looking to lose weight are worried about going to the gym, they don’t want to be stared at and they don’t want to feel pressure from others. The truth is anybody with that bad an attitude is usually looking at themselves in the mirror constantly so don’t worry, they won’t be judging you.
If you’re not quite ready to make that leap though, there is plenty you can get started with at home to lose weight. It also cuts down on the time spent travelling to the gym and means you don’t have to leave your family whilst you’re working out.

Most people don’t think they can fit the gym into their daily routine.
But with some simple changes (getting up an hour earlier, joining a gym near your workplace or taking your kids with you to the pool) everyone can find the time to fit in a 20-30 minute high intensity workout.
You don’t need to be in the gym constantly, start small with something you know you’re able to commit to – 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes for example. As you start to feel the benefits with increased energy and mood, you’ll soon want to increase the time you’re spending in the gym.
